“ We had an amazing experience at the Great Mississippi Tea Company! Timmy was a wonderful tour guide and host and enlightened us to everything tea! We weren't tea drinkers and knew absolutely nothing when we arrived but felt knowledgeable and ready to venture out into the tea world by the time we left! First we headed to the nursery and fields and learned how the plants were grown and harvested. Then we headed to the Tea Shack and learned how each of the different teas were processed. Never knew so much went into tea making, it's quite the process! They have a small gift shop as well and we were able to get a new little tea pot and some tea for our new obsession! We also learned of the work they are doing with the universities with fertilizers and watering. It was a great time and I highly recommend a visit! We'll return some day for the two day harvest, that would be amazing! ”

You can truly feel the care that goes into this place. The tea is exceptional. We tried the peppermint bark, black tea, and blueberry, and every single one was delicious. The peppermint bark was a standout and a huge hit with our kids (and my personal favorite). The flavors were smooth, fresh, and perfectly balanced—clearly high-quality tea made with intention. Timmy, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and passionate about what he does. His hospitality made the experience even more special, and you can tell how much pride he takes in the farm and the tea he produces. If you appreciate great tea, beautiful scenery, and genuine hospitality, this place is a must-visit. We can’t wait to enjoy the rest of the teas we brought home—and to return again. ”

“ The farm property is absolutely gorgeous. Timmy was very informative about every plant, the processes, and the product of his labors during the tour, and he answered every question during the visit to the shop. We stayed with Harvest Host overnight in our camper, and the experience was awesome. I would 100% recommend stopping in and grabbing some tea for yourself. ”

“ Astonishing. A revelation. If you are curious by nature you cannot miss this place. I love tea but in one short tour learned I knew nothing about this the most complex plant in the world. Timmy was patient and brilliant and in love with this incredibly time consuming product. They are building a larger plant and hiring new staff so what they are doing is working. They are harvest hosts and you get served morning tea at your RV! Never had yellow tea before? Me neither… a world of discovery here. ”
